Set up Stripe Connect to keep getting paid
FloomX is moving to a new payment setup using Stripe Connect.
To keep receiving payouts from Floom, you need to complete Stripe Connect onboarding in FloomX by 16 April 2026.
If onboarding is not completed by then, your payments will be delayed until it is completed.
What is Stripe Connect?
Stripe Connect is the new payment setup behind FloomX.
Instead of Floom manually paying florists out, each florist now has their own Stripe-connected account. This means your payouts are managed through Stripe, and you have more direct control over your billing and payout details.
Why do I need to do this?
You need to complete onboarding so Floom can continue paying you through the new setup.
This change also gives you more visibility and control, including:
- updating your own bank details
- updating your own billing card details
- seeing more payout information in FloomX
- receiving payouts more regularly
When do I need to complete onboarding?
You must complete Stripe Connect onboarding by 16 April 2026.
If you do not complete onboarding by this date, your payments will be delayed until your setup is complete.
What will I need?
Stripe may ask for:
- your business type
- legal business details
- your business or home address
- bank account details
- identity information
The exact information requested can vary depending on your business type and location.
Can I do it later if I start now?
Yes. You do not need to complete it all in one go.
If you start onboarding and need to come back later, your progress will be saved. We recommend completing it as soon as possible before 16 April 2026 to avoid payment delays.
Can Floom do this for me?
No. Stripe Connect onboarding must be completed by the florist.
This is because Stripe may ask for business information, identity details, and agreement to Stripe’s terms, which Floom cannot complete on your behalf.
Why is Stripe asking for business information?
Stripe needs this information to set up and verify your connected account.
This is a Stripe requirement, not a Floom requirement.
Why am I being asked for bank details?
Your payouts will be sent through your Stripe-connected account, so Stripe needs your bank details to pay you.
You will also be able to update these details yourself in future.
What happens if I get stuck?
If you cannot move to the next step:

- scroll back up and review any highlighted sections
- make sure your details match your official business information
If you are still stuck, contact Support with:
- a screenshot of the step you are on

Troubleshooting Stripe Connect onboarding
Having trouble finishing your Stripe Connect onboarding? Don’t worry — this is usually something small and easy to fix.
Can’t click “Finish”?
If you’ve reached the final step but the Finish button is not clickable, it usually means there is still something left to complete.
Scroll back up and check your details
Scroll back up through your details and look out for any sections marked Incomplete.
These sections will guide you to anything that still needs your attention.
Most common fix: identity verification
In most cases, the final step is verifying your identity.
You may need to:
- upload a valid form of ID, such as a passport or driving licence
- complete a quick identity verification step
Once that is done and everything shows as complete, you should be able to click Finish.
