Running your shop is busy enough without worrying about missed orders. With FloomX, you can get instant notifications straight to your laptop, tablet, or phone. Choose between Dashboard, Email, SMS, or Push Notifications. Or enable them all, so you never miss a thing.

Step 1: Access Notification Preferences
- From the left-hand navigation, click Notifications.
- Select Settings to adjust preferences.
- Your default email and phone number will already be listed under Contact Methods.
Step 2: Manage Contact Methods
- Use the dropdown to add a new Phone or Email.
- Click Add to save, or the trash icon to remove.
- A Customer Contact number is required and cannot be deleted.
Step 3: Enable Notifications
You can choose one or more of the following:

Dashboard (in-app)
- Note, that if you would like these to be push notifications (Instant alerts that pop up on your device (laptop, tablet, or phone) you’ll need to enable these on each device as well.
- SMS / Text
Check the boxes for the methods you want. You can add multiple numbers/emails so you and your team all receive alerts.
What’s included in the text notifications:
- A new order notification
- The order delivery date
- A link to view the full order directly on your FloomX dashboard

Step 4: Enable Push Notifications
- Available on Google Chrome only. Download Chrome if you don’t have it.
- Enable Push Notifications in your Notification Settings.
- Must be enabled separately on each device (e.g. laptop, mobile, staff devices).
- Notifications cover new orders, order status checks, and announcements.
- Click a notification to go directly to the order or announcement.

Cautionary Notes
- By entering a mobile number and enabling this notification, you agree to receive SMS messages about new orders from Floom. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Tips for Efficiency
- Always enable notifications for new orders and status checks to prevent missed deliveries or refunds.
- Click notifications directly to save time and go straight to the order.
- Double-check SMS is linked to a mobile number, not a landline.
