Have issues with receiving push notifications on your device?
If you’ve enabled push notifications for FloomX on Chrome but aren’t receiving them, there are several potential reasons. This guide outlines common troubleshooting steps for both Mac and PC users to resolve notification issues.

- Open Chrome and click the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings.
- Scroll down to Permissions and click Notifications.
- Locate FloomX in the list of sites.
- Ensure notifications are Allowed.
- If FloomX is under the "Blocked" section, click the trash can icon and re-enable notifications by revisiting the site and allowing notifications when prompted.
Step 2: Verify System Notification Settings
For Mac Users:
- Go to System Preferences > Notifications.
- Select Google Chrome from the list.
- Ensure Allow Notifications is toggled on.
- Verify that the Alert Style is set to either Banners or Alerts.
- Check that Show in Notification Center and Play sound for notifications are enabled.
For PC Users:
- Open Settings > System > Notifications & Actions.
- Under Get notifications from these senders, ensure Google Chrome is turned on.
- Click on Google Chrome to access advanced notification options, and confirm all relevant toggles are enabled.
Step 3: Ensure you have enabled Notifications on an active browser
Notifications might not appear if FloomX is closed or inactive:
- Ensure your Chrome browser isn’t in Incognito mode, as push notifications are disabled in this mode by default.
Step 4: Clear Cache and Cookies
- Open Chrome and click the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Select More Tools > Clear Browsing Data.
- In the pop-up, select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Click Clear Data and restart Chrome.
Step 5: Update Chrome and Operating System
For Chrome:
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Select Help > About Google Chrome.
- Chrome will automatically check for updates. If an update is available, click Relaunch.
For Mac/PC: Ensure your operating system is up to date by checking for updates in System Preferences (Mac) or Settings > Update & Security (PC).
Step 6: Disable Extensions That May Block Notifications
- In Chrome, click the three dots > More Tools > Extensions.
- Review your installed extensions and disable any that may interfere with notifications (e.g., ad blockers or privacy extensions).
- Test notifications again with FloomX.
Step 7: Test Notifications
- Visit FloomX and ensure notifications are enabled.
- Trigger a test notification by performing an action that typically generates one (e.g., a new order alert).
