Father’s Day can't compete with Valentine's Day or Mother's in terms of gifting. Still, bouquets do see a slight increase over Father's Day. To attract as many customers as possible it's important to clearly signal any specially created Father's Day bouquets that you are offering – especially considering that there's no iconic bouquet that's gifted on Father's Day, such as the red roses for Valentine's Day, so customers need as many clues as possible.

Plants and Kits

Plants always see an increase over the Father's Day weekend and seem, generally speaking, to be a more traditional gift customers like to send their dads. Kits are a nice touch offering a creative gift to consumers wanting to offer that little something extra. In terms of plants that perform well, it's the usual suspects: orchids, peace lilies and succulents.

Hampers and gift baskets

When we launched our hamper and gift basket category last year, they proved popular over special occasions especially, Father's Day included. Gift baskets that specify they are for 'Father's Day' are an added bonus. But still, make sure you clearly explain what's inside them.
