During summer, Floom customers gravitate heavily toward pink and white bouquets. Almost a fifth of the bouquets bought are white. We suggest saving a spot for a few bouquets in these colours, and maybe a couple of mixed ones for balance.
When choosing the stem, keep roses, peonies and hydrangeas in mind. These stems are set to be our most popular stems throughout summer with roses and peonies accounting for over half of orders last summer.
Events
For US Floomxers we have the 4th of July. This would be a good time to push your hampers and your red, white and blues.
US florists for later in the year keep in mind Labor Day in September and Veterans Day in November.
Bestselling stems
Roses are a close second throughout May, as we go into June you’ll see the demand for peonies drop off, with roses becoming the most searched stem on Floom.com by the end of June.

Between June and July, there’s typically an uptake in the demand for Hydrangeas which will continue through to August, whilst Dahlias and sunflowers will become more popular. Roses will stay at the same rate of demand throughout the rest of summer.
The stem that sees the highest percentage increase over summer is our seventh most searched stem, the sunflower. Whilst the dahlia stem sees the most increase out of any stem from the beginning of summer compared to the end of summer.

Popular Colours
Our most searched colours do not change drastically over summer despite the change in stem preferences. White stems move from the third most searched stem to the second most searched stem.
Days of the week
With the changing of the season and summer holidays, there are a few changes to order preferences for customers. Orders do not change too drastically, with most orders occurring during the week. However, there is a slight rise in deliveries on the weekend. Same-day delivery is fairly consistent throughout the week, with the majority occurring on weekdays.
