Florist of the Month: Marie's Blooms – FloomX

	We talk to Marie, founder of the New York-band floristry Marie's Blooms.
How did you get into the floristry business? I was bringing a previous business to a close, and I knew I wanted to go into floristry or interior design. Flowers won! I jumped right in, told everyone I knew I was at their service as a florist, and kept going.
	What makes Marie's Blooms unique? I see myself as New York's flower fairy, and I sprinkle love and joy all over the city through the magic of flowers. Whether selling a single stem at my shop or working on a large-scale event, I aim to share beauty and love in all my client interactions.
What's your favourite thing to design? I love to design event flowers. I love that events embody a vision, and the flowers usually play a vital role in the unfolding of that vision.
